Shila Israelian

Shila Israelian grew up in Iran and came to the US when she was 20, In America she has encountered many individuals who mentored and cared for her.

These circumstances motivated and enabled her to give back to others. She became a Kallah teacher at the age of 25, wanting to help young women build a happy and successful marriage. She became a doula and volunteered in Maimonides hospital in Brooklyn NY.  

Shila and her husband live in Queens NY with their children and grandchildren. Their home is always open to others in need of help and support. Together they are passionate about mentoring and guiding others. 

Shila is continuously working to better herself in understanding and helping people and her main goal is to be a safe and pleasant harbor for whoever needs help, care and support.

Core creates warm and inspiring Jewish communities by nourishing and networking frum women. Core offers training, resources and support for women who want to strengthen their communities on an intentional and ongoing basis. It supports ongoing gatherings that help build individuals, families, communities, and the Jewish people.
