Raizy Menczer

Raizy Menczer grew up in the chassidish enclave of Williamsburg, in Brooklyn NY. Her mother was a lifelong teacher which ignited her passion to follow in her footsteps and inspire the next generation.

Immediately upon graduating high school she started teaching first grade and was surprised to discover how much she was able to learn from her students while simultaneously teaching them. Watching children discover the joys of reading is something she never tires from and looks forward to.

After a number of years as a teacher, she became the principal for grades 1 & 2 in a large local Chassidish girl school. For the last 12 years she continues to be a mentor to both students and teachers in a mutual exchange of respect and learning.

She is a wife, mother and grandmother of a beautiful family of children and grandchildren.
