Gitti Horowitz

Gitti Horowitz was raised in Scranton PA. She attended the Bais Yaakov of Scranton. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from the University of Scranton and after getting married, spent 4 years in Israel working in the microbiology laboratory in Shaarei Tzedek Hospital.

After their return to the States she taught Science at the Bais Yaakov in Baltimore; where she now serves as Assistant Principal in the Upper Middle School. In addition she teaches an accelerated Physical Science course, and a course on the Torah Perspective on Feminism in WITS Seminary. She is also a Kallah teacher.

In 2008 Mrs. Horowitz began giving a Chinuch chabura to small groups of women in the Baltimore area. She is very passionate about chinuch.

Mrs. Horowitz lives in Baltimore with her husband Rabbi Yaakov Horowitz and greatly enjoys spending time in Eretz Yisrael and Baltimore with her children and grandchildren
