Ayelet May

Ayelet May was born in Israel and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She moved to Palm Beach, Florida to run a small Jewish preschool. Ayelet trained in Montessori. After a few years, the Gardens Jewish Experience was born as an extension of the outreach activity they had been doing in Palm Beach.

Ayelet also led the first groups of women from Florida on trips to Israel with Momentum. In 2010, Ayelet joined the faculty of Torah Academy of Boca Raton, where she taught kindergarten until recently. The family relocated to Boca shortly thereafter and, in 2019, Rabbi May started the Boca Raton Kollel. Ayelet helps direct the Boca Raton Mikvah and volunteers for the BRS Chevra Kadisha. Most recently, she became an EMT and became the first female member in Hatzalah of South Florida. She is also currently enrolled in formal training to become a kallah teacher.
